Jónas Jónsson frá Hriflu (1885 - 1968) was a powerful politician and founder of the still existing Progressive Party. He was also hugely influential on the cultural scene and clashed many times with young Icelandic artists. The author of many textbooks, this is one of his first. The book is in good condition with one paper half torn.
