Magnea Ísaksdóttir, a journalist from the Kroníka newspaper, visits the headquarters of a Norse religion cult in a remote part of Iceland and soon gets entangled in the ambitious plans of the high priest. She also finds out that the cult is quite prepared to carry out those plans whatever the cost. 

This is the second book in the series about the newspaper Króníka that Skúli Sigurðsson started in Stóri bróðir (2022).
