Art in Iceland is a collaborative project involving key participants in Iceland's art scene. The magazine's board includes representatives from the Icelandic Art Center, the Association of Icelandic Visual Artists, the Visual Arts Council, the Art Theoretical Society of Iceland and the Iceland University of the Arts.
The publication aims to serve as a dynamic platform for ideas, critique and knowledge about visual art in Iceland while also documenting movements within contemporary art and the visual arts scene in the country. The magazine is published annually in a high-quality, beautifully designed print edition, in both Icelandic and English.
This is the sixth issue is dedicated to various events that took place in the Icelandic art scene in 2025 and interviews with Icelandic artists.
