Natasha S. is a translator of Icelandic literature into her native language, Russian. In 2021 she was the editor of the book Pólífónía af erlendum uppruna that was a collection of poetry written by immigrants in Iceland that do not have Icelandic as their native language. Máltaka á stríðstímum is Natasha's first book of poetry written in the aftermath of the invasion of Ukraine and she received the poetry Prize of Tómas Guðmundsson in 2022 for it.
