Jórunn Viðar ævisaga

Jórunn Viðar was the first Icelandic woman to get a university degree in musical composition. She was certainly a pioneer as a composer as well as having a great career as a pianist. 

The reception and appreciation of her work was however often effected by her gender so she had to struggle every step of the way.
