Byggðarhorn í Flóa. Niðjatal

Ingibjörg Sigurðardóttir and Gissur Gunnarsson were the farmers and custodians of the estate at Byggðarhorn in Flói for 36 years, from 1899 to 1935. Gissur was born at Byggðarhorn, where his grandparents had taken over the stewardship of the farm in 1837.

Gissur and Ingibjörg had sixteen children, all of whom reached adulthood and established families of their own. Today, their descendants number well over five hundred.

Two of their descendants, the brothers Theódór and Hjalti Lúðvíksson, have compiled the genealogy of their great-grandparents and gathered the information about their descendants that is presented in this book.

The authors of this family history are Theódór Lúðvíksson, an accountant and former employee of the United Nations, and Hjalti Lúðvíksson, an agricultural machinery engineer.
