Blómin á þakinu

This classic Icelandic children's literature was first published in 1985. It tells the story of Gunnjóna an old woman that decides to move from the Icelandic country side and try and live in the Icelandic capital of Reykjavík. There she gets to know a young boy that lives in her apartment building. He watches as Gunnjóna makes her apartment more comfortable and more like her old home in the country side.
