Many news photographs by Icelandic photographer Gunnar V. Andrésson are nothing short of iconic. When Icelanders think of a major event in the country's history for the last five decades or so, more likely than not his photos captured the event. He is without a doubt one of the most influential photographer in Iceland. 

This book contains around two hundred of his photographs and comes with a detailed back story of each one written by Icelandic author and mp Sigmundur Ernir Rúnarsson.
